Profile of the Institution

This institute has been started in the year 1956 under the private management in the building donated by Wanaparthy Pingali Family. By the efforts of Sri Burgula Ramakrishna Rao, the former Chief Minister of Hyderabad state, the Government of Andhra Pradesh took over this institution in July 1958 and constructed the permanent building for this institution. Since then this polytechnic began its pioneering and glorious innings in the service of student community and celebrated Golden Jubilee Year (1956 – 2006) celebrations.
